Íslenska 3 | B1.1

Áfanginn er ætlaður þeim sem hafa þó nokkra undirstöðu í íslensku og geta gert sig skiljanlega um fjölskylduhagi, líðan sína og starf. Haldið er áfram að fjalla um þætti sem tengjast daglegu lífi og starfi til að auka orðaforða nemanda og þjálfa framburð. Einnig er þjálfaður orðaforði sem tengist leigu á húsnæði og húsnæðiskaupum. Lögð er áhersla á að kynna íslenskt samfélag fyrir nemendum með það fyrir augum að þeir verði meðvitaðir um þá siði og þær venjur sem hér tíðkast. Þeir þjálfast einnig í að kynna sitt heimaland, siði og venjur. Fjölbreyttum kennsluaðferðum í tungumálakennslu beitt. Leitast er við að gera verkefnin þannig úr garði að þau reyni á hæfni nemandans við raunverulegar aðstæður og þjálfi nemandann í að geta haldið uppi samræðum og gert sig sem best skiljanlega á íslensku. Áfanginn samsvarar fyrri hluta B1 (B1.1) samkvæmt viðmiðun Evrópska tungumálarammans (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

The course is intended for those who have some basic knowledge of Icelandic and can make themselves understood about their family situation, well-being and work. We continue to discuss aspects related to daily life and work to increase the student’s vocabulary and practice pronunciation. Vocabulary related to renting and buying housing is also trained. Emphasis is placed on introducing Icelandic society to students with the aim of making them aware of the customs and habits that are common here. They are also trained in introducing their home country, customs and habits. A variety of teaching methods are used in language teaching. We strive to design the tasks in such a way that they test the student’s skills in real situations and train the student in being able to hold conversations and make themselves understood as best as possible in Icelandic.
